Well Test Analysis
Our pressure buildup and draw down well test analysis consultants have expertise in vertical and horizontal oil and gas wells. We use gridded finite difference reservoir simulation as a primary tool to maximize the uniqueness of the solution in our petroleum reservoir engineering approaches. The historical well production, flowing and shut-in pressure response is history matched in the finite difference reservoir simulator and coupled with an analytical pressure transient analysis software tool. This approach is specifically focused towards minimizing uniqueness problems and understanding the dominant producing mechanisms of the reservoir. Without this important linkage, it is not possible to optimize the well completion and hydraulic fracture stimulation effectiveness.
